What’s New in Version 1.5.0?
- Updated the animation speed setting to give you more control. You can now use a specific millisecond or second time value instead of just a few different speed options.
- The animation speed can now also be set to control either the time it would take to finish animating to the goal value, or can be set to control the time it takes to reach the current value. The latter option is ideal for those who are not using a goal value or displaying a fill bar.
- Number animation and bar fill animation now sync better in all browsers.
- You can now hide the number value to only display the fill bar.
- Values imported from Google Sheets now support negative numbers and empty decimal places.
- Improved widget loading performance.
- Improved the animation initialization when the widget is scrolled into view for all browsers.
- Improved the “Circle fill wave” layout’s animation.
- Improved the “Rainbow” animation.
- Fixed display errors that showed in Internet Explorer 11.
- Fixed an bug that could cause the widget to not initialize in the Wix editor when you first load the editor.
- Fixed a bug that would show small artifacts above the numbers if the counting animation was set to a very fast speed.
- Other minor bug fixes.

- We have improved Visual Stats Bar’s loading time as well as made it compliant with Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Other Minor Bug Fixes.

What’s New in Version 1.5.0?
- The free version now supports 3 additional pages, increasing the max to 6 pages total.
- The premium version allows you to upload multiple images at once. You no longer need to manually add an image to each new page. This is very useful for those who have lots of pages/images.

- New “Side by side images” option. You no longer need to manually create side by side images when you want there to be different images on the left and right pages. By default FlipFolio stretches a single image across the left and right pages of the book, when this option is enabled a single image will be placed on each side. This option is available in both the free and premium versions of FlipFolio.

- Added a new pagination option to allow users to navigate to specific pages by number. This option is available in both the free and premium versions of FlipFolio.

- You can now adjust the widget mobile size by adjusting the bounding box in the mobile editor.
- Images can be automatically optimized for better load times and performance using the new “Cover & Optimize Image” setting. This option is available in both the free and premium versions of FlipFolio.

- Improved overall image loading performance.
- Updated settings menu design.
- Other bug fixes and improvements.

We threw together a quick video to help demonstrate how Flipfolio can spice up your site.
by jeremyhawes | Jun 24, 2015 | Flipfolio, Update
This update is automatic and the changes have already been added if you are currently using FlipFolio.
New Features
- New “Book Cover Closed” Frame Theme. This will allow you to use the first and last pages as a front and back cover of a book. FlipFolio will start with the book closed displaying the front cover and will open when clicked on or when the right navigation arrow has been clicked.
- New “Stretch to Fit” image fit option. This will force your image to fit inside FlipFolio regardless of the image’s aspect ratio.
Bug Fixes
- FlipFolio’s width no longer squeezes to fit if the bounding box has been set to a small width.
- Fixed a bug causing the Reading Direction setting to not save correctly when set to “Right to Left” (This option is now titled “Reverse”).
- The Reading Direction setting has been renamed “Animation Direction” for more clarity. The “Reverse” option now also works when the “Autoplay” setting is enabled.
- The add page button now works when you click the center of the button.
- When “Loop” is disabled it now works with the “Autoplay” setting enabled. When FlipFolio has reached the last page Autoplay will stop.
- Fixed: When you changed the size of a book on one page, all of the other pages that contained books would switch to mobile mode while in the editor.
